Brief Description : To work in a supported learning environment to develop the skills and knowledge which will assist the apprentice to complete their qualification and secure employment and progress in their career in the future.


Qualifications Required : A-C GCSE or equivalent
Vacancy Detail : To support the Technical Services team in the delivery of a safe and maintained shopping centre, by ensuring that the building, equipment, machinery and aesthetics are fully maintained and operational through the use of planned, reactive and cost effective engineering and maintenance.

Engineering and Maintenance
Assist with routine tasks connected to the upkeep and maintenance of the buildings.
Assist the Technical Services team in carrying out reactive and planned maintenance.
Perform general housekeeping duties to keep maintenance areas tidy and safe.
As directed by the Technical Services team support tenants ensuring appropriate compliance to their leases and relevant license’s on technical matters

Meetings & Events
Coordinate arrangements for meetings and events so that they are productive and effective; provide reminders for and chase meeting actions.

Retail Delivery
Support with the coordination of the retail delivery process for all incoming tenants, following the on-site processes and procedures set by Hammerson.

Coordinate the preparation and updating of maintenance records via the electronic document storage system.
Support with appropriate permissions and permits for contractors undertaking work in the shopping centre.

Special Projects
Undertake, plan and deliver assignments/pieces of work when required so that the meet agreed deadlines/standards.

Communication & Relationships
Ensure close liaison and relationships with the Operations, Tenant Liaison, Marketing and Commercialisation teams to understand operational involvement and requirements for events and activities.
Facilitate the flow and distribution of information and communication so that the team can work productively and good communication and relationships are maintained

Number of Positions Available : 1
Working Week : Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm
Salary : £287.35 Per Week

Skills Required : Knowledge & Experience:
o Essential
o 5 GCSEs grade A - C or equivalent
o Proficient Microsoft Office skills
