Brief Description : Buxton & McNulty can offer apprenticeships in the following disciplines:- Plumbing, Pipefitting and welding. We are a commercial plumbers and pipefitters and work is carried out on building sites not domestic plumbing.


Qualifications Required : English and Maths GCSE to a minimum grade 4. Grade 5 is preferable.
Vacancy Detail : You will report directly to your site supervisor and will receive a training plan detailing the steps of your apprenticeship. Work will entail working alongside a qualified plumber/pipefitter and learning your chosen trade. At the end of your apprenticeship with Buxton & McNulty you will be fully qualified.

The company was formed to provide mechanical services. We specialise in pipe work installations covering, public health, heating, chilled Water, condensate, gas and fuel services. We havea fabrication workshop where pipe can be made to measure and delivered to site. We have extensive experience and have undertaken many projects working on commercial properties, residential, energy centres, hospitals, schools and prisons.

Number of Positions Available : 2
Working Week : Monday to Friday 7.30 – 4.30 (40hrs)
Salary : £225.00 Per Week

Training to be Provided : This qualification is made up of:
• NVQ Diploma Level 2 in Heating and
Ventilation (Commercial Installations)
• Functional Skills in English at Level 2
• Functional Skills in Mathematics at Level 2
• Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR)
• Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
Other Information : Successful applicants will need to apply and pay for a CSCS card, have their own steel toe cap work boots and supply their own tools.
Things to consider : £225.00 per week 1st year apprentice – rising payscale with Travel paid for.

Buxton & McNulty offer a 4 year apprenticeship as after completing L2 we will discuss moving to L3; to continue onsite training or completing Gas Safe training.
