Brief Description : Silverain was established 20 years ago and have primarily operated as a specialist landscape contractor. Due to continued growth and diversity of the company they now cover all aspects of construction including Patio & Driveways, Kitchens, Bathrooms and landscaping.

 

Qualifications Required : 5 A* - C GCSEs or equivalent an advantage

Silverain is dedicated to ensuring apprentice’s learn to the best of their ability on the job with the support of our Senior Engineers. We are an expanding company in search of candidates that will be committed and task focused to reach the best of their ability.

Daily tasks will include some or all of the following:

Learning how to cut hinges
Learning to cut locks
Cutting Letterboxes
You will be programming a CNC
Using a drill
Using an impacter
Using table saws
Sanding
Filling
Drilling

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Ensure all jobs are scheduled in correctly to assist with coordinating daily job rotas.
Daily tasks will include some or all of the following:

Learning how to cut hinges
Learning to cut locks
Cutting Letterboxes
You will be programming a CNC
Using a drill
Using an impacter
Using table saws
Sanding
Filling
Drilling

•Carry out maintenance work as required and unsupervised according to ability.
•Flexible availability to suit weekend and evening work as required.


OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Undertake any other related responsibilities commensurate with the evolving objectives of the post and the evolution of Silverain, as may reasonably be requested by the Director.
•Work with due regard for Silverain’s core values and objectives.
•Ensure the effective implementation of and adherence to Silverain’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.


PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:
•Participate in the Silverain Appraisal process, and agree short, medium and long term goals with line manager.
•Share best practice and achievements.
•Contribute to the learning of others across the organisation by sharing knowledge and skills both informally and formally.

Working Week : 8:30/9:00am - 5:00/5:30pm : working hours
Salary : £ 200.00 (Weekly)

Personal Qualities : Competencies
•Confidence and ability to communicate clearly, friendly and professionally with a range of clients, including non-native English speakers.
Skills Required : Knowledge of energy efficiency and home energy products, or demonstrated interest in energy efficiency and sustainability an advantage
