Brief Description : To deliver a new, profitable and innovative food offering. Recognising gaps in the local market and delivering a new offering to our customers. Ensuring the delivery of the day to day menu is at the highest level and maintaining and adhering to all Health & Safety requirements.

 

Qualifications Required : Math and English GCSEs or equivalent
If you do not have a C/4 or equivalent you will be expected to complete an assessment and will be expected to achieve a level 2 ; and take Math and English functional skills level 2 along-side the apprenticeship course.
Vacancy Detail : Responsibilities of role
1. Prepare and deliver the menus to the highest standard and within the required timeframe as set by the Food and Beverage Manager.
2. Working, preparing and delivering all food in line with all regulatory compliance.
3. To ensure that an excellent standard of service is offered to all customers including dealing with any customer queries and complaints that may occur.
4. To come up with different specials and dish ideas, whilst keeping within budget and making the required GP percentage.
5. Communicating any new dishes, changes or differences to the menu with all catering staff in a polite and professional manner.
6. To be familiar with relevant Health & Safety legislation and the Council’s Health & Safety policy, and to be a first aider and fire marshal within the building (training provided).
7. Responsible for keeping the kitchen clean and tidy at all times, all food labelling is being adhered to, ensuring there are no issues with EHO visits.
8. To be flexible with regards to a working pattern that covers evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
9. Maintain a proactive and innovative outlook with regards to revenue opportunities.
10. Prepare food and assemble orders according to guidelines
11. Assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in producing catering offers for functions and private hire that are competitive with local competition.

Salary : £ 309.00 (Weekly)
